We researched different lighting effects and techniques. We experimented and altered lighting intensities and angles to see how they impacted on shades, room lighting and shadows. In our quick film clip are a few of the main lighting types.
We also found the altering the angles and height of the light source can change the way the shadow appears and how well lit the room and people in the room will be. Also adjusting the distance the light is from the required person or object will affect the size of the shadow that appears behind it. This gave us a greater knowledge and intelligence in how to change lighting for our filming and firmly control how we wanted the setting represented for the scene.
